first annual Colorado Springs Cool Science Festival hosted this year on
Saturday, September 18th at the UCCS Main Campus. We're
standing on the shoulders of last year's "Cool
Science
Day
@
UCCS," which brought together nearly 20 different
participating organizations and drew well over 2500 people together
from around the Pikes Peak region.
This year we
expect 5000-7500 visitors who'll be able to explore over 50
different hands-on science and engineering activity events going
throughout the day in our Science Carnival, engross in a
growing line-up of science-related presentations covering topics and
themes relevant to the world around us, and engage with a
variety of UCCS science and engineering laboratories that will be open
to visit, explore, and meet with those on the leading edge of current
research.
